This piece of memorabilia is signed on the back with "Made in Occupied Japan ENCO 2T 391" which indicates that it was manufactured in Japan between 1945 and 1952 by the Enco Corporation. These were created to be exported or be sold as a souvenir for foreigners - not for domestic customers. The 2T 391 is the style number for this piece.
Each NY monument is displayed in their own separate holder. Our piece has the images orientated in opposite directions. Some that we have encountered have the images orientated in the same direction. We do not know which is the anomaly.
