Vintage Avon Mother's Day Plates - Special Memories - 1985-1986

Avon produced Special Memories Mother's Day plates from 1981 through 2006. The same design had a caucasian version as well as an African American version. These two 5 inch diameter porcelain plates are in excellent condition, with vibrant colors and 22K gold trim. Plastic stands are include. Both were designed by Tom Newsom. The back is marked with Special Memories by Tom Newsom , title of plate, Avon symbol and dates.1985 is "Creation of Love" while 1986 is "A New Tooth".
