Goofus Glass is a process that has the color pressed or molded into the blown glass with cold paint and not fired in a furnace.  Therefore, when it is washed, the paint begins to come off in flakes.  The carnivals and businesses bought large quantities of these pieces because it was cheaper and they were not concerned with how long the paint stayed on.  This piece only have about 4 tiny flecks off.  The red pedestal fades into a yellow base with a diameter of 3.5 inches.  The red dish rises to a yellowish color and a 6 inch diameter rim with tiny half spheres lined up.  It is a pressed glass design.  There is one tiny chip on the rim.
