The Fostoria Glass company introduced colored glass to their production in 1924. The ribbed footed glass container is 4.25 inches tall. The base is 4.5 inches in diameter. The top container measures 3 inches by 1.25 inches. Fostoria was known for producing some of the finest depression era elegant glassware. Smoking was quite the vogue in the 20s with the flappers, speakeasies, and spirited music. Cigarettes were made readily available for guests. Now a days, this vintage glassware can be used for business card holder or other small articles in a bathroom or bedroom.
